Creative Parade for newly elected Lord Mayor of London 2013

Clare Newton conceived The River of Power and produced, trained and managed 100 volunteers from City law firm, CMS Cameron McKenna, to celebrate one of their Senior Partners, Fiona Woolf, becoming the new Lord Mayor of the City of London. Fiona is only the second woman in the 800 years to hold this office.

More than just a Parade – creating projects to reach into the hearts of the community 

 

Leading the 83 members of the CMS Parade will be the HydroPower Serpent manned by 9 serpent guards who will swirl the Head and Body of the Father Thames flow puppet through the streets of the City.  Then comes ‘The River of Power’ CMS staff members and their families, accompanied by the children of Whitmore Primary School displaying their home made hats. There was a lot of noise! And there’s more to come! Rain dancers, Swirly Spinning Dancers and 2 Giant Walking Puppets – all conceived by Clare Newton
